Christmas cheer
Another year, and Christmas has come and gone, once again. I've had the bright idea of doing a self-portrait, along with my brother, first thing on Christmas morning for the last couple of years. It's been interesting to see the progression of how much we've grown up over the last few years. Here we are this year:
As for any profound insight or new Christmas revelation that many of my blogging friends have to share, I have none. While I have gained a new appreciation for our traditional Christmas carols and have enjoyed the odd rum & eggnog, my Christmas has been a fairly uneventful one; nothing groudbreaking or momentus has occurred in my life. I just got to spend some time with my family, which is always a blessed occasion, be they fellow faithful believers or not.
Most of my close friends are out of the province, or out of the country entirely for the holidays, some even beyond. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for being the great friends that you are, and let you know that I miss you. I'm not a loner while you're all away, but there is a noticable gap in my life without all of you here. I love you! Safe travels.
